Where do you work? (The Pressable team is remote.)
San Antonio, Texas, but I have lived in both San Francisco and Taiwan in the past.
How long have you Worked for Pressable?
Two years in November!
What’s your favorite part about working for Pressable?
Great team members that always have your back and support you in any way possible, and the culture and flexibility of the company. It’s a great feeling to be able to work from any location in the world. We have some pretty great clients, too!
What’s the craziest, most impactful, or most exciting support ticket you’ve ever serviced?
The most exciting tickets that I handle are ones in which I recognize local companies from my hometown of San Antonio, like Fiesta SA. I find it fun to help people in my community.
When you’re not pressing at Pressable, what are you doing?
I’m a huge sports fan. That includes religiously watching my Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs on a regular basis. I’ll also be attending UTSA football games this year since I will be living right next to the stadium this season!
If you had the power to change one thing to make the world a better place, what would it be?
I would love to see this country’s youth get a better education. Everything in life that people wish to be or do depends on how fortunate they are and how much education they have.
If you could work remotely from anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Currently, I am extremely happy back in my hometown of San Antonio, though working remotely is my favorite perk. I hope to travel back to Taiwan and San Francisco in the future without worrying about having to take time off!
What is your favorite way to listen to music, Pandora or Spotify? What is your favorite station/playlist?
Pandora because it is free and random. I honestly love listening to Tejano
Mac or PC?
Favorite support hack tool?
Do you have a life hack or piece of advice/tip/trick for being a remote worker?
Stick to a consistent schedule and routine the best you can. For me, this helps me stay productive no matter my location.
