Mike has been working with the Pressable support team for a little over two years. Throughout his tenure at the company, he’s provided excellent customer service to our long list of clients. Let’s learn a little more about Mike and how he spends his day-to-day life.

What is your role at Pressable?

Customer/Tech Support.

Where are you located?

Downtown San Antonio, Texas.

How long have you worked at Pressable?

A little over 2 years. It is hard to imagine that I haven’t stepped foot into an office or rushed off to work in 24 months!

First shift, second shift, third shift?

First shift (early morning). I love having the ability to ease into my mornings in a way that allows me to serve our customers even earlier than I would be able to if I had to commute to work in rush hour traffic.

What were you doing at 8:57 a.m. Tuesday this week?

Talking to a customer via live chat.

What were you doing at 3:28 p.m. Friday this week?

Enjoying an afternoon walk in the park by my home.

What is your best work-life balance tip?

Close the lid on the work laptop at the end of your work shift and get outside for a walk. This helps get out of work mode and into the rest of your day.

What’s your home workspace like?

I no longer have to spend my days under bright artificial lighting as my standing desk is situated next to my windows which bring in tons of natural light. I’m also not tied down to a desk for an entire day.

What do you enjoy about your home workspace?

I absolutely love the fact that I can control the temperature, noise level, music, and lunch options during my workday. I no longer have to bear with others as some offices can be way too noisy for my tastes. Being able to create the perfect individual work environment is a blessing.

If you could describe what a day in the life is like for you in one word, what would it be?

Entertaining.

If you had a superpower, what would it be?

Psychic ability.

What is your biggest goal in how you impact the team and our customers at Pressable?

To continue being able to transfer all of my WordPress knowledge to customers with tricky and unique issues.
