Updating your Pressable profile and password is quick and easy in the [MyPressable Control Panel](https://pressable.com/knowledgebase/mypressable-control-panel-basics/).

## Update Your Profile

From the MyPressable Control Panel, click on your account name and avatar at the top right corner.

This will take you directly to your **Account Information**, where you’re able to update your **name**, **email address**, **phone number**, and **company name**. Additionally, you can also set [Appearance](#change-appearancetheme) and [Accessibility Options](#accessibility-options) to suit your needs.

After making any necessary changes, be sure to click the **Update info** button to save your changes.

Note: It is important to keep your account information correct and up to date, as this information is used to access and verify the ownership of your account.

## Change Appearance/Theme

You can change the appearance of your **MyPressable** dashboard by switching between **Light** and **Dark** mode, and **Full-Width** and **Boxed** layout.

To set these to your preference, go to **Settings > My Profile > Appearance.** Click the mode and layout that you would like to activate, and that will be used as the new default for your account.

**Light** mode offers a clean, bright interface that works well in well-lit environments, while **Dark** mode reduces eye strain in low-light settings by using darker backgrounds and softer contrast.

The **Full-Width** layout allows content to span the entire width of your screen, which can be useful for maximizing space, especially on smaller displays. The **Boxed** layout, on the other hand, centers and constrains content to a comfortable maximum width (1280px), making it easier to read and scan, particularly on larger or ultrawide monitors.

Here’s what a Site Overview Page looks like with the **Full-width Layout**:

Your MyPressable dashboard features a number of color perception accessibility options. To adjust these settings go **Settings > Account Information > Accessibility Options**.

Choose the color perception option that you would like to use and this will be set as the default for your MyPressable dashboard.

To change the password for your Pressable account, scroll to the bottom of the **Account Information** section of your **Settings**.

There you’ll see fields where you can update your password.

You will need to enter your existing password, as well as enter your new password twice.
