If you believe that a non-consensual intimate visual depiction of you has been shared through a site hosted by Pressable, you may submit a removal request under the U.S. federal [Take It Down Act](https://www.congress.gov/bill/118th-congress/senate-bill/4569/text/is) using the process described below. This process may also be used by an authorized representative acting on behalf of the identifiable individual depicted.

The Take It Down Act is a U.S. law that creates a notice-and-removal process for non-consensual intimate visual depictions, including certain digitally altered or AI-generated intimate visual depictions. This page is intended to address reports involving non-consensual intimate visual depictions, including certain digitally altered or AI-generated intimate visual depictions.

Before submitting a request, please keep in mind that this process is intended for intimate visual depictions shared without consent. In some cases, additional context may be required for Pressable to determine whether the reported content falls within the law, our policies, or both.

## **Please follow these steps to file a notice**

1. Verify that the site in question is hosted by Pressable (add /.well-known/hosting-provider to the end of the site’s URL and check for “Pressable”). If the content is not hosted by Pressable, please contact the appropriate provider or platform directly.
2. If possible, contact the site owner directly to seek removal of the content (via their contact page or <https://www.whois.com/whois/> can also be used to find domain contact information).

3. If the issue cannot be resolved directly, submit your email request through Pressable’s Take It Down Act reporting process in the **Contact Pressable** section below.

## **Additional statement for submitters**

To help Pressable assess requests and reduce misuse of this process, Pressable may require a reporter to confirm the following as part of the submission:

“I have a good-faith belief that the intimate visual depiction identified in this request is not being shared for the purposes of journalism, commentary, satire, or political speech, and that its publication is not a matter of public concern.”

## **What happens after you submit a request**

If your request is valid and complete, Pressable will review it promptly. If the request qualifies for removal under applicable law or Pressable’s policies, Pressable will remove the reported content and may take reasonable steps to identify and remove known identical copies.

Pressable may assign a tracking or ticket number to your request so that the request can be referenced in follow-up communications.

If Pressable determines that additional information is needed to evaluate the request, we may contact you using the contact information you provide.

## **Important considerations**

This process is intended to address reports involving non-consensual intimate visual depictions, including certain AI-generated or digitally altered content. It is not a general-purpose reporting channel for all privacy, harassment, or copyright complaints. If your concern falls outside this process, please use the appropriate Pressable reporting or legal contact path, with options found here: <https://pressable.com/legal>

Please note that Pressable may review reported material under this law, under Pressable’s existing policies, or both, depending on the circumstances.
