My first ‘dot-com’ experience was in 1998 with a Chicago-based music instrument retailer, backed by Vulcan Ventures (funded by Paul Allen, cofounder of Microsoft). That was nine startups ago. Consulting with companies for 13 years, my clients have included Walt Disney, Universal Studios, Target, NASCAR, and the NBA.
Today, I see myself as an advocate for merchants, helping them stay away from ALL practices that can increase their card processing costs.
