The 2026 Review Signal WordPress hosting benchmarks dropped earlier this month, and the results speak for themselves.
Review Signal founder Kevin Ohashi has been running these benchmarks since 2013 – they’re the most rigorous independent performance tests in the WordPress hosting space. After a three-year gap, the 2026 edition marks the first benchmarks powered by Orderly Ape, an open source platform for running large-scale hosting benchmarks that Ohashi built himself after the economics of the previous tooling became untenable. The wait made the results worth paying attention to.
Pressable earned Top Tier status in every tier it entered: under $25/month, $25-50, $51-100, $101-200, enterprise ($500+), and WooCommerce.
The results were consistent across the board. At the sub-$25 tier, Pressable was the only company with 100% uptime across all three monitors, and the LoadStorm test came back flat and fast with zero errors. Static response times averaged 5.1ms – the fastest in the tier.
At the $101-200 tier, Pressable was again the only company with 100% uptime across all three monitors. The static test posted the fastest average response time in the tier at 5.1ms, and the LoadStorm test finished with just 9 errors against 1.08 million requests.
At the enterprise tier, Pressable had the fastest static average response at 5.6ms across 4.85 million requests with zero errors. The biggest spike in the static test reached 13ms. An A+ SSL rating across every tier, too.
On WooCommerce, Pressable posted perfect uptime, zero LoadStorm errors, the fastest static average at 5.6ms, the fastest GTmetrix average across 12 global locations, and the highest WPBenchmark.io score (8.3).
The full tier-by-tier breakdown is available on the Pressable company page at WP Hosting Benchmarks.
The Repository’s write-up of the benchmarks asked Ohashi whether any company had dominated across tiers like this before. He pointed to past performances, but said it wasn’t unprecedented. “It often takes a pretty high degree of confidence in your product to compete in as many tiers as possible,” he said.
Pressable has earned Top Tier recognition in every tier it has competed in. The 2026 results maintain a consistent record across both WordPress and WooCommerce tiers in every year of participation, with near-perfect uptime and consistently sub-6ms static response times.
