We’ve rolled out a major expansion to Pressable MCP, bringing everyday site maintenance and server commands directly into your AI assistant conversations. This update bridges the gap between talking to your AI and jumping into your dashboard, allowing you to run routine tasks like clearing cache or grabbing a backup using simple prompts.
Updates & Navigation
- New Caching and Backup Options: You can now tell your AI assistant to clear a site’s edge, object, or CDN cache, turn defensive mode on or off, view available backups, and get direct download links for files and databases.
- WP-CLI and Command Tools: Run WP-CLI and shell commands on individual sites, or run the same command across multiple client sites at the same time through a single prompt.
- Environment Transfer: Instruct your assistant to copy files and databases between environments, or refresh a site’s plugin and theme lists with what’s actually installed.
- WordPress Admin: Reset owner or user passwords, or pull up a phpMyAdmin link for a quick database check – without opening the dashboard.
- SSL and Site Organization: Ask your AI to check domain SSL certificate statuses, retry stalled issuances, tag sites, and leave notes or mark favorites across large portfolios.
- Access Management: Disconnect an active SSH session or toggle the WordPress MCP connection on or off for a specific site.
