We’ve combined the separate backup and restore collaborator options into a single checkbox. This update simplifies managing your team by putting all data-handling tools into one place, ensuring that related features, like the Data Transfer tool, work right away without needing to guess which checkboxes to turn on.
Updates & Navigation
- One Single Checkbox: The old “Download Backups” and “Restore Site” options have been replaced by a single Manage Backups & Restores checkbox under your collaborator settings.
- All-in-One Access: Checking this box automatically gives your collaborator full access to download backups, restore a site from a backup, and use the Data Transfer tool to move sites between environments.
- Interruption-Free Access: To keep your team’s daily operations running smoothly, existing collaborators who already used either backup or restore tools have been moved to this new permission automatically.
How to Get Started
Log in to MyPressable, head to your Collaborators tab when editing a team profile, and use the new Manage Backups & Restores checkbox to adjust full data privileges for your team at once.
