COLAB is a Richmond, Virginia digital agency that has designed, built, and supported WordPress sites since 2008. We work with healthcare organizations, nonprofits, and member organizations, including credit unions, whose websites carry responsibility to the patients, members, and donors they serve.
Our work starts before a contract is signed, when we understand your business model and your vision for the organization. Once we’re underway, we align by learning your audiences, goals, and constraints and agreeing on a plan. From there, we grow: building, launching, and learning in iterations. That cycle continues after launch, and the site improves as your needs change.
The sites we deliver come with documentation and editor training. Your team can run the site day to day without calling us.
COLAB manages client hosting on Pressable through the Automattic for Agencies program. Clients get one partner accountable for both the website and the server. We deploy changes from GitHub, which keeps every update versioned and reviewable before it goes live.
Our average client relationship lasts five years or longer. Beyond the website, we bring our technology expertise to client operations, connect internal systems to the website, and build web applications for staff and members. Several clients, including Sports Backers and Virginia Credit Union, have worked with us for more than ten years. Other long-standing clients include Virginia Realtors, Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden, and Virginia Physicians for Women.
