Accessing Web Server Logs for Your Site

Pressable provides seven days of Web Server Logs, 200 per page. In this article, we will review how to access Web Server Logs for your website to assist in debugging a problem.

You can access the server logs for any site by going to my.pressable.com and then clicking on the site you need the logs for. Once on the specific site page, you can then navigate to the Logs tab. Once you’re on the Logs tab, you can click on Webserver Logs section to access them –

Pressable provides the last seven days of server logs.

The Webserver Logs provides the option to view the latest server logs for the site.

It also allows the ability to filter by Status Code, Request Type, and search for a specific IP:

  • Status Code: This search filter allows searching through codes 100599
  • Request Type: This search filter allows searching through the following requests:
    • GET
    • POST
    • PUT
    • PATCH
    • DELETE
  • Search User IP: This allows searching the logs for specific IPs

Logs should be updated when you view them, but if some time goes by and you’d like to check if there are any updates to the log, you can make sure you’re viewing the most recent server logs by clicking the Get Latest button:

Pressable also provides the ability to email server logs by clicking the Email Server Logs button:

This option will email you a CSV file with the most recent 500 server logs for your site.

NOTE: The email cannot be changed, and will use the email address associated with the individual account you are logged into.
