Category: Tutorials | Last modified: August 28, 2020

To secure your Pressable account, an additional security layer can be enabled for MyPressable Control Panel by enabling Two-Factor Authentication (2FA). With 2FA enabled, you need a code from your mobile phone to authenticate the login.

Before proceeding, please install an authentication application on your phone, such as Google Authenticator or Authy. Those applications are available for both Android and iOS.

Step One

Login to your account via MyPressable Control Panel. Once logged in, click on the arrow beside “Admin” in the upper-right corner then click “My Settings”:

Step Two

On the next page, click on “2FA” and you will be redirected to the page below. Make sure you have installed an authentication application on your phone, and then click “Enable.

Step Three

Open your authentication application from your phone, and scan the barcode on your 2FA page. The authentication application should then add a profile for the barcode you scanned with a code. Enter this code into the form under the barcode, and then click on the “Confirm” button.

A pop-up will appear confirming that 2FA has been enabled for your account.

Step Four

Each time you login to the MyPressable Control Panel, you will now be asked for a confirmation code, as seen in the screenshot below. You will need to open the authentication application and enter the code to confirm your login attempt.
